The event takes place from 9:00am – 1:30pm, rain or shine, with registration starting at 8:30am and projects starting at around 9:00am. If you are bringing your friends or family, please be sure to register as a group to ensure you are assigned the same school.
We also encourage volunteers to donate. All donations for this event are put towards materials - paint, trash bags, paint brushes, etc. Any amount is welcome - $20 pays for 3 roller brushes and $50 covers one gallon of paint. Help us reach our $3000 goal and help improve the learning environment in our DCPS partner schools. Donations of $20 or more are eligible for a Hands on DC t-shirt on event day.
If you’d like to support this event but aren’t able to attend, we encourage you to donate.
